HDPE pipes are PE plastics whose molecules are denser, harder, stronger and slightly heavier than LDPE (low density polyethylene), but less flexible. High density poly-density polyethylene density can range from 0.93-0.97 g / cm3. Although HDPE density is only slightly higher than low density polyethylene, HDPE has slightly branching, providing a tensile strength between molecules much stronger than LDPE.
